  • Genre: The album blends various genres, including Pop, New Wave, Dance-Pop, Pop Rock, Progressive Pop, and Electro-Disco.
  • Success: It achieved commercial success, topping the UK Albums Chart due to strong advance sales and reaching the top 10 in other countries. The album is certified 3x Platinum in the UK.
  • Production: Produced by Trevor Horn, known for his distinctive style which often involved replacing the band's instrumental parts with session musicians or his own performances.
  • Singles: The album includes hit singles like "Relax", "Two Tribes", and "The Power of Love," the latter becoming the band's third consecutive UK number-one single.
  • Content: The album features new versions of previous singles and several cover songs. The lyrics of "War" incorporate spoken word passages from historical figures and a Ronald Reagan impressionist.
