Kiss – Creatures Of The Night
- About the album: Released on October 25, 1982, this is Kiss' tenth studio album. It marked a return to a harder rock sound for the band, after experimenting with different styles on previous albums. It was the band's last album with Casablanca Records.
- Significance: This album is seen as important in Kiss' history, marking a shift in their sound and featuring new members. The album also featured the song "I Love It Loud".
- Personnel Changes: It was the last album to feature Ace Frehley as an official member (though he did not play on it) and the first to feature Vinnie Vincent on lead guitar. Other session guitarists also contributed to the album.
- Album Cover: The album had multiple cover variations, including the original issue, a 1985 reissue without makeup featuring Bruce Kulick (who did not play on the album), and a 1997 remastered version.
-
40th Anniversary Editions: In 2022, UMe released 40th anniversary editions of the album, including a Super Deluxe box set and a 2CD Deluxe Edition.
- The Super Deluxe Edition features a massive collection of 103 total tracks (75 unreleased), including the remastered album, demos, rarities, outtakes, and live soundboard recordings. It also includes a Blu-ray Audio disc with Atmos, 5.1 surround, and high-resolution stereo mixes.
- The 2CD Deluxe Edition includes the remastered album and 16 studio rarities and live performances.
- Availability: The album is available in various formats, including CD, vinyl, and streaming. It can be found on platforms like Amazon.com, Discogs, and the KISS Official Store.
